- Light inspection – visually inspect for non-working lights.
- Inspect oil before service-verify if vehicle consumes oil between changes.
- Check power steering fluid level.
- Check brake fluid level-if level is low, we do not add.
- Fill the windshield washer fluid.
- Check tire pressure and set accordingly.
- Check automatic transmission fluid level and inspect fluid color.
- Check coolant protection level-topping off is a nominal fee.
- Check radiator and hoses for leaks or cracks.
- Inspect belt for cracking, fraying or other wearing.
- Visually inspect air filter.
- Visually inspect breather filter.
- Visually inspect P.C.V. valve.
- Visually inspect fuel filter and lines for signs of age and rust.
- Inform customer of the use of fuel system services.
- Visually inspect wiper for tear and ask customer about performance.
- Visually inspect cabin air filter.
- Grease all lubrication points on the suspension.
- Replace engine’s motor oil.
- Replace engine oil filter.
- Wash the windshield.
- Inspect tires for unusual wear.
- Inspect vehicle for any visible signs of fluid leaks.
- Review all the checkpoint items with the customer.
These items done per customer’s request, due to time constraints, these checks may also not be possible on some vehicles.
- Check rear differential fluid level.
- Check front differential fluid level.
- Check transfer case fluid level.
- Check manual transmission fluid level.
